Super Ferry 9 survivors

According to the latest weather forecast here in the Philippines, another storm is expected this weekend. I'm glad I didn't have to ride a pedicab on my way home tonight because it really ruins my budget. 2 days ago I read the different stories of the survivors from the Super Ferry 9 passengers, I was teary eyed especially for the children less than 1 year old who had to jump off the ferry before it sink. There was a conclusion that the cargo inside the ferry were not in a balance position that's why it sank. I hope Aboitiz will be very careful now to protect the lives of the thousands of their passengers.

Earning online

Through blog hopping I learned about Link from Blog, another source of earning online. I haven't explored it yet on the exact details but I was encouraged to write a post because it seems this one is not a scam. I hope I can get a better internet connection at home so I can assess how Link from blog really works!
Having 2 blogs (my other blog is Travel Spot) sometimes I was confused which one will I update first but I am very interested of earning through blogging aside from writing a paid post.

Finally!

For almost 2 weeks now, I've been checking my email from Social Spark if my blog was disapproved again. Since June this year I already applied my blog with SS but I was disapproved more than ten times na yata. For awhile I thought that they will never approved of my blog, but I know that "patience is a virtue", after changing my lay out, editing my posts, I tried again of my luck. This afternoon during lunch break I checked my email again, and I was excited to see John 's email, he said that my blog was disapproved (again!) because my posts are not clearly dated but once I meet the requirement they will approve my blog. I panicked because even I already edited the settings I cannot see the dates appearing on each posts, then I thought of editing the HTML code and voila! The dates appeared on each posts and I resubmit my blog again. Just a few minutes before writing this post, I received the good news from John C. I hope that in the next coming days I will start grabbing opps from them.

McDonald's Badminton Tournament

Whether I like it or not, I have to join the invitational tournament of McDonald's Badminton tournament, proceeds of which will be going to the McDonald's House of Charity. Eastern Telecommunication will have 2 teams, unluckily most of the players we have are gentlemen so I was forced (LOL) to join the team. Just like last year it will be held at Yonex Mandaluyong on September 19 & 26, 2009. Some of the advantages here are a number of local celebrities will be joining too because GMA 7 participates every year, meet and play with the Philippine Team and the food is over pouring!
