Multi tasking Mom

Thank God after a very tiring day, I left the office early and that's 6pm. I thought I can rest at home and can find time to blog hop but my kids got many assignments that I have to prepare. Family tree, paper plate with a drawing of favorite pet, paper heart, paper flower and lot more pictures (bad thing since I bought my digital camera I haven't had the pictures developed) so I have to print some in bond paper. While charging my camera, looking for some pictures in Google and cooking burger steak, I am writing this post (whew!).

Visit at SM City Annex

Since the weather is good today and for a change, we decided to visit SM City Annex. My kids have gotten used to Trinoma Mall so they requested for the newly renovated mall. We took a quick lunch at Yoshinoya (SM Main) and we ate their delicious Chicken Teriyaki.
Then we had a stroll at the newly constructed Sky Garden:

Good news! We don't need to go to SM Mall of Asia because on July 16 IMAX SM North will be opened to the public.

A quick glance inside the mall:

They played at I-Tech, Playstation 3 and Xbox360 rental for Eighty Pesos per hour.

I recommend you visit SM City Annex North Edsa, its really something new!

Colorful Sunday

We just stayed in the house the whole day because Nikko still needs to rest, we did not even attend the mass and the Parents meeting in their school. My two kids spent the whole day printing some coloring pages of Spiderman from the internet. My six year old Makoy is a fast learner, by looking at me while surfing the net he learned how to search in Google. He searched by himself the coloring pages in Google and his Kuya even requested for Spongebob and Superman. Look at them posting their finished colored pages on our door.
Later in the afternoon, maybe sawa factor striked them. They pulled some chairs, stick, box and pretended that they are playing in a band. Looks like they had fun in their music!

Bad Weather

I received a call from my helper this afternoon informing me that Nikko's teacher called our house and told her that he has a fever. Right away I fixed my things and informed my boss through text that I have to bring my son to the doctor because he's in a meeting (luckily I'm not with him). Since yesterday he was not feeling well but he insisted this morning that he wants to attend his class.
He was given another set of medicines, he just completed his antibiotics last Saturday. Can I blame the weather? They have a fully airconditioned rooms and when they go outside, the heat is really unbearable. It's really scary to get sick because of the pandemic Swine Flu. I hope he'll be okay by tomorrow.

Package from Sister

The long wait is over... after more than two months of waiting for sister's package from Canada. the box was delivered last Saturday. She gave me lipsticks, concealer, lip liner , shirt , shoes and a cap for hubby.
My very first pair of size 8 Naturalizer!
Shirts, colored pencils, toothbrush and RC for Nikko and Makoy
And lots of goodies too!
She's been away for nine months now, we missed her company because she's always been our constant mall companion to help me with my two kids. Luckily in less than one year, she's already qualified for a permanent residency in Canada (Alberta). I hope we can visit you someday sis Weng! Thanks a lot! mwah!!
In one photo, she was visited by our Ate from Cerritos during her birthday last March 1, 2009.

Dream is over

I felt I was snapped out of a dream....it now sinks in that hubby already left us (again!). There's also this realization that my 3-week vacation was already over. But I really really enjoyed it being with my loved ones, this was also my first longest vacation from work, we will not get paid for our unused vacation leaves so I grabbed this opportunity in time for hubby's break from work. Back to our normal routine again. Here are some of our last pictures with hubby before leaving for airport.

Makoy wishes that his Daddy will be here on his birthday (June 18) so I bought him balloons, cooked spaghetti and a complimentary Red Ribbon junior cake from BDO credit card. We celebrated in advance!
Nikko pretended that it's his birthday too!

We miss you Daddy! Take care of yourself! We love you!

Malling at Trinoma & SM City

One day before hubby is scheduled to leave, we brought the kids at Time Zone Trinoma. We joined the kids in playing...
We really had fun in playing at Go Go Balls here!

When we are about to look where to eat our lunch, Makoy saw Sbarro and said he wants a pizza! We haven't tried to eat there yet (because I know it's expensive!) so we decided to give it a try.
Makoy wanted a Pepperoni pizza

Then we proceeded at SM City The Block to buy some stuff for hubby. Makoy saw this giant pin balls and requested for a shot.

Hubby obviously liked Bread Talk's Floss, we bought 10 pieces! (there's no bread talk in Dubai)

Sunday Family Bonding

We just stayed in the house this weekend. Later in the afternoon today we decided to take the kids for their Badminton 101. We played for 1 1/2 hours 6-7:30 pm. Makoy spent most of his time learning how to serve the ball over the net. Nikko was already playing this game on the street with his cousin & friends in my in-laws so he knows more. They enjoyed the game, Makoy doesn't want to go home, he said he doesn't know yet the techniques (LOL!). We told him we will play again some other time. Here are some of our pictures:
On our way to Sangandaan Sports Center riding a jeepney
Fun game

Great family bonding indeed!

Busy Friday

I accompanied hubby this morning at POEA to renew his OFW card. I was not allowed inside so I waited at the cafeteria first. Later he texted me that I might want to stroll around at Robinson's Galleria first because he's still waiting for another 200 before him. I went to the Ladies' section of the department store and started looking for some Friday wash clothes. Here's what I bought...and these are on sale, two shirts each from Red Girl and French Toss.
Hubby was already inside Robinson's Department Store when I was about to pay. When he arrived, we ate at Reyes Barbeque...Grilled Squid & Chicken Gizzard (delicious!)
Then it's my turn to buy hubby's birthday gift .... 2 shirts from Folded and Hung and a Hickok belt (can't afford to buy him a Lacoste!)
Then we went to SM City North Edsa to buy the kids their school bags. And I was so amazed with the price!!!! Hawk bag costs P3,300 each! Gosh, my bags costs only P500. We have to buy them similar style to avoid jealousy, lucky kids because hubby decided to buy it for them. But we told them the condition that they have to use it in 3 years!
Maybe without hubby's work, we cannot also buy them these branded school shoes too! (Florsheim for kids P1,500 each). Their shoes are more expensive than mine too.
Before we left this morning, Makoy requested that we buy him a Smart Cube
This is an educational toy wherein you can assemble frog, dinosaur, palace, duck, etc.
