Who Is Telling The Truth?

I just want to share this wonderful and inspiring article of Bo Sanchez...please read on.....

One day, a young guy and a young girl fell in love.
But the guy came from a poor family. The girl’s parents weren’t too happy.
So the young man decided not only to court the girl but to court her parents as well. In time, the parents saw that he was a good man and was worthy of their daughter’s hand.
But there was another problem: The man was a soldier. Soon, war broke out and he was being sent overseas for a year.
The week before he left, the man knelt on his knee and asked his lady love, “Will you marry me?” She wiped a tear, said yes, and they were engaged. They agreed that when he got back in one year, they would get married.
But tragedy struck. A few days after he left, the girl had a major vehicular accident. It was a head-on collision.
When she woke up in the hospital, she saw her father and mother crying. Immediately, she knew there was something wrong.
She later found out that she suffered brain injury. The part of her brain that controlled her face muscles was damaged. Her once lovely face was now disfigured. She cried as she saw herself in the mirror. “Yesterday, I was beautiful. Today, I’m a monster.” Her body was also covered with so many ugly wounds.
Right there and then, she decided to release her fiancĂ© from their promise. She knew he wouldn’t want her anymore. She would forget about him and never see him again.
For one year, the soldier wrote many letters—but she wouldn’t answer. He phoned her many times but she wouldn’t return her calls.
But after one year, the mother walked into her room and announced, “He’s back from the war.”
The girl shouted, “No! Please don’t tell him about me. Don’t tell him I’m here!”
The mother said, “He’s getting married,” and handed her a wedding invitation.
The girl’s heart sank. She knew she still loved him—but she had to forget him now.
With great sadness, she opened the wedding invitation.

And then she saw her name on it!

Confused, she asked, “What is this?”

That was when the young man entered her room with a bouquet of flowers. He knelt beside her and asked, “Will you marry me?”

The girl covered her face with her hands and said, “I’m ugly!”

The man said, “Without your permission, your mother sent me your photos. When I saw your photos, I realized that nothing has changed. You’re still the person I fell in love. You’re still as beautiful as ever. Because I love you!”

This Story Is A Parable Of Your Life

Friend, the girl believed she was ugly.

The man believed she was beautiful.

Who is telling the truth?

Simple answer: The man who loved.

You may be like that woman. You feel you’re disfigured by your failures. Marred by your mistakes. You feel you live an ugly life. But God says you’re beautiful! Because He loves you.

He doesn’t look at your mistakes. He doesn’t look at your past. He looks at the original beauty He created in you—and the glorious beauty of your future.

I encourage you to speak words of truth.

Dethrone the lies in your mind.

Say, “I’m beautiful.” Say, “I’m a wonderful person.” Say, “I have a great future.” Say, “I’m anointed. I’m strong. I’m blessed.”

Use your words to create your desired reality.

May your dreams come true,

Bo Sanchez

Decades

Please get a copy of Papa Piolo's newest album"Decades", featuring the carrier single "Babe".

Babe I'm leavin'
I must be on my way
The time is drawing near
My train is going
I see it in your eyes
The love, the need, your tears
But I'll be lonely without you
And I'll need your love to see me through
So please believe me
My heart is in your hands
And I'll be missing you

'Cause you know it's you babe
Whenever I get weary
And I've had enough
Feel like giving up
You know it's you babe
Givin' me the courage
And the strength I need
Please believe that it's true
Babe, I love you

You know it's you babe
Whenever I get weary
And I've had enough
Feel like giving up
You know it's you babe
Givin' me the courage
And the strength I need
Please believe that it's true
Babe, I love you

Babe, I'm leavin'
I'll say it once again
And somehow try to smile
I know the feeling we're tryin' to forget
If only for a while
'Cause I'll be lonely without you
And I'll need your love to see me through
Please believe me
My heart is in your hands
'Cause I'll be missing you
Babe, I love you
Babe, I love you
Ooo-oo-oo-oo, babe

The New Me

There are many things in life that are strange but true. White people want a tan look, while most of us Filipinos wanted a whiter or lighter look. Many of us struggle just to get a lighter and glowing look. Some would even try the magic of kalamansi, others try the different papaya soaps available in the market. Of course we all want a cheaper brand or product but the question is “does it worth it?” or we are just wasting our hard earned money for some products that are not even proven and tested. I am also particular in the models that are endorsing a product, are they credible enough to endorse the product? I personally saw Jinky Oda walking in one of the busy streets here in Makati, I was really excited to witness that she really did some transformation!

Who would think that we look like this many years ago?

Being innocent and young (before!), I was not bothered by my skin color, I even joined the CAT as COCC to become an officer. Fortunately I was able to finish it and I became a Delta Captain. I was so morena then because I was exposed directly to the heat of the sun during our weekly formation.

Then as years passed by, I became conscious of my skin color and all of a sudden I wanted to have a lighter color. Then Glutathione became famous and almost all the ladies I know wanted to try it, but it is a lot pricey so I have to be very careful in choosing the best product with the best quality. I did some research and I learned that aside from getting a lighter skin tone, Glutathione also promotes the liver’s metabolism and serves as antioxidant that protects the body against the damage caused by free radicals.

Looking back, its nice to see my own transformation as the years passed by……..

Who would even think that these 2 ladies can be as prettier as they are today?

Thanks to Glutamax! I am now proud and confident being “The New Me”. Who would even think that I am already nearing my 40’s? I will continue using Glutamax products to boost my immune system, increase my energy and continuously lighten my skin tone. What else are you waiting for? Visit the nearest drugstore so you too can say this is “The New Me”.
lovelier and more confident new me

Reviews Inc.

Another informative site from a very passionate blogger (aka “blogging addict “),Reviews Inc. True to her tagline, “Where Reviewing is not a job, it’s a passion”, because her reviews are very informative and with credibility and aside from this site, the author has seven more other famous blogs in different categories of course. I thought of this review site as different from the author’s other sites because the theme is in more professional level. The layout is very simple too, but elegant! The badges are well organized and the overall impact? It is very clean and very easy to navigate.

It is easy to tell that the author is a mother, because of her numerous posts about Johnson’s. I bet 9 out of ten mothers are using Johnson’s products. I also received the limited edition ofJohnson’s Body Care gift pack and I agree with her post on the 24 Hour Lasting Moisture Body Lotion. We really need to have a lasting body moisturizer because of our climate here in the Philippines. I also let my kids use Johnson’s baby shampoo, baby soap and baby powder.

The author just celebrated her birthday last Monday February 1, and for sure her door is still open for more birthday gifts! (Paging Johnson’s!) Belated Happy Birthday my dear Pehpot! I will surely visit her site more often.

Abi's Birthday

Last Saturday, we attended Klaire Abigail's Ist birthday party at the very sosi place, Acropolis Clubhouse. I told my kids that the party was cancelled because Jojo's car will be used by his brother, fortunately he borrowed from another friend a car (a brand new altis!). The kids loved the ice cream station, they hardly eat the main course. Since the photo booth was just beside our table, we took 4 souvenir shots! Thanks Mareng Nini!

Fascinated with WAHMaholic

It’s really fun when you are blog hopping, you can see different style of templates, I believe that there’s really a great impact once your layout is impressive. Somehow, the layout really reflects the identity of the author. I really admired the layout of Kaye, the famous author of WAHMaholic. It’s a must to navigate on the whole site, the badges, links , everything is well organized and clean, and of course her posts are well written too.

I tried changing my template before, unfortunately I cannot do it alone. I was really fascinated when Kaye did the makeover on one of Niko’s blog. I also saw Anna Barons’ new header, very simple and elegant. I thought I have seen the best, but wait! What I like best was her fine work of art on Mommy Mel's coolest layout, very superb! Well, I guess one quality that fits their Marce Club is to be exceptionally brilliant! Visit Kaye's site and find out for yourself how great this blogger is.

Opps! Don't forget to join the much awaited contest that is giving away $500, of course brought to us by the two brilliant minds of Kaye and Pehpot! To qualify, just blog about the contest (including the badge and the banner) and review the major sponsors with 3 back links. Of course we all want to claim the first prize so let’s start the ball rolling and begin writing the reviews to get a front load points before the deadline ends on Feb 28, 2010.
