ITS HARD ON ALL OF US. SHE SAID ONE DAY WE WILL SEE THIS AGAIN. AND MAYBE OUR JOBS WILL BE A LITTLE BIT EASIER AND MORE ACCEPTING ABOUT IT. ONE DAY YOU'LL LOOK AT THIS VIDEO, 20 YEARS FROM NOW, I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF YOU WILL STILL BE TOGETHER AND IT WILL STILL HURT. IT WILL STILL HURT LIKE HELL. (CRYING). MAYBE ONE DAY WHEN WE'RE OLDER, WHEN SHE IS OLDER, THAT WE WONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS. I DON'T BLAME HER. THE PRESSURE ON HER IS SO GREAT. THAT I KNOW SHE FEELS LIKE SHE HAS NO CHOICE. SO THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT RHIAN. ITS NOT. I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO BE YOU IN HERE, IN THIS SITUATION. ITS JULY 28, 2010 AND IM SITTING INSIDE THE HOTEL. THE RITZ-CALRTON IS SINGAPORE AND WE'VE BEEN FIGHTING ALL NIGHT ABOUT THIS. IM DOING MY BEST TO TRY TO KEEP YOU SAFE. AND ALL THIS FIGHTING IS TAKING A TOLL ON US. I WISH WE COULD HAVE THIS CHILD. Sibling Rivalry

The news about Ram Revilla’s death was very tragic, and double up because the prime suspects are his siblings. I cannot really imagine how an 18 and 22 year old youngsters can possibly do a heinous crime like this to their own brother. Sibling rivalry was told to be the root cause, I read more about this topic on Wikipedia. Sibling rivalry is a type of competition or animosity among children.  Siblings generally spend more time together during childhood than they do with parents. The sibling bond is often complicated and is influenced by factors such as parental treatment, birth order, personality, and people and experiences outside the family. Sibling rivalry often continues throughout childhood and can be very frustrating and stressful to parents. Fighting with siblings as a way to get parental attention may increase in adolescence. Sibling rivalry can continue into adulthood and sibling relationships can change dramatically over the years.

What are the main causes?

• Unequal amounts of their parents’ attention, discipline, and responsiveness
• Stress in the parents’ and children’s lives can create more conflict and increase sibling rivalry
• Children fight more in families where there is no understanding that fighting is not an acceptable way to resolve conflicts, and no alternative ways of handling such conflicts

How to Prevent it?

• Refusing to compare or typecast their children
• Planning fun family activities together
• Making sure each child has enough time and space of their own
• Give each child individual attention, encourage teamwork, refuse to hold up one child as a role model for the others
• Avoid FAVORITISM

Thank you Lord that I was sick last Tuesday, I was with my kids when typhoon Pedring badly hit our town. Definitely there were many stories and photos to share but thank you that we had stocks of food, water and candles because we have no electricity in two days. I heard so many complaints from my kids because of no electricity and internet access but I told them that we are still lucky because the fLood did not reach inside our house. Last night I cooked all the cold cuts inside the ref, it was a good problem because I was worried what to do with my raw food. Until now the streets are not passable but hopefully I can report for work tommorow. We already have electricity but cable and internet connection were not yet fixed, thankful again I have an Ipad 3G...God is good all the time.
