In cases like this, the wife is always at the losing end. She gets blamed for the husband's adultery, she gets vilified for fighting for her marriage, she gets crucified for staying in the marriage. The kabit even gets to make out like she's an unwitting, innocent victim.
What hurts wives the most is the knowledge that the kids will suffer unnecessarily. This is the most painful cut of all.
