Gaga was also nominated for Artist of the Year, but lost the trophy to the unstoppable Justin Bieber. Bieber was the night's big winner with four trophies at the AMAs, including Favorite Breakthrough Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Album for My World 2.0.
Lady Gaga was not on hand to accept her AMA. She is currently touring in Europe.
