Chicken ala Max

Actually this recipe is for Niko, she said she love's Spring chicken so much. Funny, i'm sending her the ingredients through YM yesterday (",)
here goes:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup fish sauce (patis)
pepper
1 small bottle of tanduay
3-4 cups water
1 kilo chicken

Its very simple, just put all the ingredients in a pot and let it simmer for about 40-50 minutes (low heat). After an hour or two , deep fry it. Then you guess what chicken it tastes like.....

Now I know what to do with the bottles of Tanduay we have in the house. LOL Parati kaming binibigyan ng Tanduay pag may galing ng Pilipinas pero paminsan-minsan lang naman uminom ng rum with coke itong husband ko. I-try ko nga ito, favorite ko pa naman ang Max's chicken. I'll let you know how it turns out. :o)

ang galing galing mo pala magluto mommy ha ^_^. keep on posting and mai-try nga yan minsan..di ko sure if may tanduay dito sa international grocery store malapit samin. i'm still learning how to cook hehe..

funny nga, everytime bibili ako ng tanduay sa tindahan..nakatingin pati tambay...hahaha..akala nila umiinom ako nun, kasi minsan big bottle ang available!

Beng kakaloka ang secret ingredients na ito, what if walang tanduay anong dapat e-substitute aside from the beer too. I love Max chicken too iba talaga ang lasa. Thanks for sharing.

in case walang tanduay, pede din red wine, kaya lang medyo magiiba ng lasa ..depende sa red wine na gagamitin.
