Before, I thought this lady was so mailap, she barely talks to us, maybe she was busy blog hopping (now I know!!!...LOL). She was very generous and helpful on her many projects, her very recent project was helping Daniel.
Niko was my mentor here, I'm very thankful because she frequently informs me if there are available opps around and introduced me on her advertiser.

Proud to be Pinoy

Like Charice another fellow Filipino made it at the Ellen Degeneres Show, Raph Salazar. He was so amazing, watch how his singing prowess wowed the audience. This 12 year old boy is really unbelievable.
He was ABS CBN’s original “Little Big Star” champion, Raph also won the coveted titles Junior Grand Champion Solo Vocalist of the World, and the Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World. He sang a one-minute version of Celine Dion’s “All By Myself” at the final show.

Here's the uploaded video of Manny Paquiao after his guesting at Jimmy Kimmel Live on November 3, 2009 with an unidentified woman inside his car. It was believed to be Krista Ranillo, his leading lady in his Metro Manila Film Festival Entry on December "Wapacman".

Manny's wife, Jinky was seen to be crying during the thanksgiving mass after Manny's victory against Miguel Cotto. Manny gave a "no comment" answer when asked about the status of his rumored relationship with Krista Ranillo.

How long til Christmas?

As of this moment, countdown til Christmas is 37 days 16 hours and 20 minutes. My kids will have an early and surprise Christmas gift next week. I'm sure they will be happy on that surprise. They are also doing the countdown because they are too excited to receive their Christmas presents this coming Holiday season.

I watched Pacquiao's fight on free live stream at UStream. As expected, Pacquiao made another history after bagging the welterweight title.

Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao made history Sunday (Manila time) when he bagged the welterweight title, his seventh in as many divisions, after defeating Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto, the reigning champion in that division.

Pacquiao has won the world championships in the flyweight (112 pounds), super bantamweight (122 lb), featherweight (126 lb), super featherweight (130 lb), lightweight (135 lb), and light welterweight (140 lb).

No man has won seven world titles in seven weight divisions and only five boxers have won six – Pacquiao, Oscar de la Hoya, Thomas Hearns, Hector Camacho, and James Toney. source

I missed eating Bibingka, I cannot remember when was the last time I ate this kind of bibingka which is only available during Christmas season. It sure tastes delicious, because I was able to finished this alone.....feast your eyes on this guys...Happy Weekend!

Friday the 13th

Today is Friday the 13th. We had our dinner at Top Grill Makati for a colleague's despedida, Niko's boss, my former boss too and godmother of my eldest son. For a simple keepsake, we made a scrapbook for her...

There will be many "surprises" next month, Oh I can't wait for it....

Favorite Chocolate

It's my first time to participate here in Girls Talk! I was so anxious because I love the topic for this week, Favorite Chocolate! Just what i wrote in my previous post, I am really a chocolate lover, my day will not be complete not eating a chocolate. I love Hershey's kisses but the one that I frequently buy is Kitkat because it is more economical....Have a Break, Have a Kitkat!

Dream Car

I've been longing to have a car since it is really a necessity nowadays. When I am on my way home after shopping, I feel helpless and tired because I still have to walk a couple of kilometers to the jeepney terminal with my two hands carrying three heavy shopping bags aside from my office bag. You can call me a superwoman! According to my closest friends the best brand of car is a Toyota, I don't know how many years will I still count before owning one. My sister in Cerritos is willing to give me her old car but shipping it is the biggest problem. When I'm ready to own one I'd like to try the private or Personalized Number Plates wherein I can use my initials and my favorite numbers too. Even our executive personnel here in the office have personalized Number Plates not even mentioning our politicians around.

Puto Bumbong

Christmas is really around the corner, I can really smell it..hehehe, iba talaga ang simoy ng hangin pag Pasko. I was hungry when I went home last night so I decided to buy a puto bumbong near our place.

Unfortunately I forgot to ask for a free tea.

My kids enjoyed fixing the Christmas tree using the old Christmas decorations and Christmas lights, am planning to buy new Christmas decors at Divisoria this weekend.

Window Shopping

This morning we went to the mall to buy a Teflon non stick pan and to look around for possible Christmas gifts to friends, relatives and of course to myself, LOL!
After giving birth with my two kids, I only wear slippers or slip on sandals on my way to the office. But since I am buying only the imitation, I end up buying again 2 or 3 months after using it. I decided to look for Crocs but then I thought that Crocs look good only for kids and teens . Then I saw this nice pair of sneakers from Skechers.....I still have four weeks to decide if I will buy it as a Christmas gift for myself.
Two weeks ago, one of my colleagues left a Hershey's chocolate, I ate it of course being a chocolate lover, and its really super delicious. I've been looking for it in a grocery store but I can't find it. At last I saw it this morning! But unfortunately I did not buy it because its too expensive, One Hundred Fourteen Pesos for 1 piece chocolate, instead I bought Hershey's kisses.

Missed the Fun

Last Friday was our Thriller Party, I was sick then so I was not able to attend the first ever Halloween Party in our department. There were 2 special prizes: Best MJ Look a Like and a Special Award for Star of the Night. Au who was also a frequent visitor here was really scary on her makeup and costume. Just a while ago, when I opened the door of the rest room, I was surprised…and a little bit shocked when I saw her face….LOL! I can still imagine her scary face in the photo.

Remembering All Souls Today

Unlike in Metro Manila, people in the provinces visit the graveyard of their departed loved ones on November 2. I wish I can visit soon my father's tomb in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, it's been more than six years since the last time I visited his hometown. My father is a true blooded Ilocano, that's why he's a loyalist of former President Ferdinand Marcos. My father left his second family there, so I just send a little amount of money to my half brother I'm also eager to see him now. Paoay was greatly hit by typhoon Pepeng, I hope those areas in the north are given relief goods too. One of Ilocano tradition is to put atang on your departed loved one, so you will see a spaghetti that I cooked there.

After 4 days of having cough and colds, I decided to stop taking decolgen no drowse and neozep, I bought Zitromax antibiotic and lagundi, I hope to feel better tomorrow for work.
